The Cisco NIM-1MFT-T1/E1 is a carrier-grade voice and WAN interface module for Cisco ISR routers, designed to terminate T1 or E1 trunks in enterprise and service provider networks. It supports serial data channel-groups, CAS voice signaling, PRI, and flexible TDM drop-and-insert, enabling migration from legacy PSTN or PBX to IP while preserving existing E1/T1 infrastructure. With structured G.704 interfaces, AMI or B8ZS/HDB3 line coding, and internal or loop timing, the NIM-1MFT-T1/E1 delivers reliable multiservice connectivity for branch and campus deployments.
